- Accepting awards for The New York City Police Department will be NYPD Commissioner Kelly;
- For the Fire Department of the City of New York it will be FDNY Commissioner Cassano,
- and for the Port Authority Police Department, it will be PAPD Superintendent Fedorko.
We will be paying respect to those who fell on that history-changing day; to those who live with illnesses and disabilities from work at Ground Zero during search/rescue and recovery.
And we will honor the innovative men and women whose tireless efforts in NYPD, FDNY and PAPD and coordination with counter terrorism experts at all levels of government, help us mitigate potentials for disaster every day.
