The March luncheon is at Planet Hollywood in Times Square New York City. Colonel Jennifer L. Hesterman, currently a full professor with the American Military University, will be speaking on Emerging Foreign and Domestic Threats: What Every Security Industry Leader Must Know.

A sit down lunch will be served which includes soft drinks, and two glasses of beer or wine. A cash bar will also be available serving top shelf cocktails.

Colonel Jennifer L. Hesterman (U.S. Air Force, retired)



Colonel Jennifer L. Hesterman, currently a full professor with the American Military University, will be speaking on Emerging Foreign and Domestic Threats: What Every Security Industry Leader Must Know. This presentation will address many topics of interest to security professionals including foreign terrorist organization designation process, the most dangerous international groups and global organized crime specifically human trafficking. Additionally, you will be provided an insider's perspective of the various agencies involved with the fight against terror and their current assessment of the threat.

Colonel Hesterman served in the US Air Force for 21 years before retiring in August 2007. She is considered an expert in International Terrorist Organizations, transnational threats, terror financing and the nexus between terror, organized crime and gangs. Ms. Hesterman has received a MS in Military Operational Art/Science, from Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell Air Force Base, AL; a MS in Applied Behavioral Science from Johns Hopkins University; and a BS from Penn State University. Colonel Hesterman has also authored a book titled, "Transnational Crime and the Criminal-Terrorist Nexus: Synergies and Corporate Trends".
